In Partnership with Tidewater Community College
At Tidewater Community College, you can finish what you started

If you complete coursework at TCC you may be eligible for the

social sciences with schedules that work around yours. It's the
prestige of U.Va. with the convenience of TCC.
Attend an Information Session at Tidewater

If you are planning to apply for fall 2008
admission to the BIS program in Tidewater and have not yet had an
Admission Interview with a BIS staff member, please contact Penny
Lewis at PBL5E@virginia.edu
or (757) 822-7486 as soon as possible to
schedule an appointment between May 27 and June 6. Her office is
located in Room 140 of the ATC building on the Virginia Beach TCC
campus. If you are interested in an interview but are not available
during these dates, please contact Penny to see what alternative
appointments might be available.
Students are urged to submit their unofficial college transcripts to
Kathryn Buzzoni, BIS Director of Admissions, for evaluation prior to
the interview appointment. This early evaluation makes it possible
for BIS staff to advise prospective applicants regarding any
additional course work that might be required before being eligible
to apply for admission. Unofficial transcripts should be submitted
by fax to (434) 982-5335 or by email to
buzzoni@virginia.edu. If you
send something by fax, please be sure to include your email address
on the cover sheet.
