WDA returns to Vermont

This summer, the WDA will join with Vermont's State Colleges to offer a one-week, noncredit Workforce Development Professional Competencies course highlighting six competencies:

Customer Focus
Planning and Continuous Improvement
The Profession of Workforce Development
Managing Your Business Unit
Community, Business and Economic Development Leadership and Influence.

This is the third time the course will be offered in Vermont. In addition to addressing the professional competencies, a theme of the Vermont courses has been the development of collaborative strategies to address an aging demographic.
