Parking: Most parking lots at the University of Virginia are free and open to the public after 5p.m. The easiest parking for Bryan Hall after 5 p.m. is the B-1 parking lot across Jefferson Park Avenue from Cabell Hall. There is also some parking in front of Bryan Hall and in the C-1 parking lot behind Clark Hall. These lots are accessible from McCormick Road (if you are heading down McCormick away from the Rotunda, take your last left turn before the Emmet Street overpass). Another option for parking is the Central Grounds Parking Garage. After 5 p.m., the rate is $0.50 per hour.

The Classroom Building is behind the Faculty Building, on the opposite side of the fountain. You can enter the Classroom Building directly; you do not need to enter through the main School entrance. The classrooms are on the main corridor or the floors directly above or below it.

Parking
Parking at the Northern Virginia Center is shared with Metro. Parking is $3.75 to enter the student lot adjacent to the building. University of Virginia hangtags, identifying you as a student, are required to enter the student lot. Hangtags are mailed with each registration confirmation at the beginning of each semester. In the event the student lot is full, students are encouraged to park in the Metro parking lot. Effective June 28, 2004, to park in the Metro parking lot, students must use a SmarTrip Card to exit the lot. Parking at Metro-operated lots is free on weekends and federal holidays. To purchase a SmarTrip Card, visit: http://www.wmata.com/riding/smartrip.cfm. Parking in the neighborhood school lot, shopping center, or housing areas will be subject to ticketing and towing.

The best parking is the open lot just past the Faculty Building. Take a left at the top of the horseshoe. The Classroom Building is behind the Faculty Building, on the opposite side of the fountain.
