Certificate in Association Management

Are you juggling mission, finance, cost effective operations and fundraising? Is it your job to increase productivity with limited resources? Build and lead high performance teams? Create and sustain adaptable operational systems? Achieve financial sustainability? React to instantaneous exchanges of information?
In the unique environment of associations, not only are you responsible for all of the traditional tasks of leaders and managers in the for profit world, such as human resources, financial planning, meeting management, information technology, and project management, but added are all of the other aspects unique for association and nonprofit organizations such as membership recruitment and retention, tax-exempt accounting and financial management, development of non-dues revenue and fundraising.
This 10-module, noncredit certificate program is designed to provide association leaders with practical skills and knowledge to foster increased productivity, innovation and responsible financial management. Join experts and peers to learn how to achieve higher levels of performance, productivity and sustainability.
Participants may register for individual modules or enroll in the 10-module certificate. All sessions are held from 1-5 pm at the U.Va. Richmond Center.
The certificate program is approved by the American Society of Association Executives for Continuing Education credit.
