Certificate in Excellence in Management
(Available through custom contract)
To maintain a competitive edge in today’s economic environment, organizations must place more demands on managers to improve productivity with limited resources. To realize organizational goals effectively, managers are expected to be coaches, team leaders, innovators, and knowledgeable administrators of financial resources. These increasingly complex expectations require managers to integrate a variety of skills into a management repertoire that may be unfamiliar or outdated.
Our Excellence in Management certificate is comprised of four, eight-hour courses that provide managers with practical strategies to maintain high levels of productivity, performance, and innovation. This knowledge can be applied immediately in daily administrative operations and also integrated into long-term departmental and functional planning.
The non-credit courses have been developed for a variety of managers who are responsible for any or all of the following:
- supervising employees
- maintaining productivity and performance levels
- managing projects and leading teams
- managing groups with specific functional goals
- implementing innovative processes and policies
- managing budgets and financial resources.
