Teaching Mathematics in the Elementary School

Course Description: Designed to prepare preservice teachers in understanding PreK-6 elementary topics, and how children learn mathematics developmentally. Examines ways to reason mathematically, make connections, and communicate mathematics through the use of literature, manipulatives, technology, and classroom discourse.
