| EDLF 873 Education Finance, Policy & Practice Course Description: Provides an orientation to problems and principles involved in financing public schools, in addition to the following topics: the economics of education; characteristics of selected taxes for school purposes; the role of federal, state, and local governments in fianancing education; finance litigation; and the concepts of equality of educational opportunity, liberty, and efficiency as a basis for resource allocation policies in education.
