HR 404W Human Behavior in Organizations (Web Course) Course Description: The bottom line goal is for the student to understand effective techniques to manage the human element of an organization. Fundamental to achieving this goal is for the student to understand the concepts and theories based on behavioral science research that have emerged and been developed during the 20th and 21st centuries. The student will develop skills in applying those concepts and theories based by analyzing realistic organizational cases and processing and discussing those analyses with fellow students and the instructor. Finally, the student brings those skills to their own organizations to access current management practices and develop recommendations for improvement.
