Media Literacy

Course Description: Explores the who, what, where, and why of the motives, strategies, and tactics of newsmakers and the media. Analyzes news to detect bias and censorship; discovers how media ownership influences reporting, explores how sources are selected; reviews how blogs and the Internet are changing the media, and explores how the PR industry shapes the news.
