Course Description: Use an actual public relations campaign as your "case study" in PR writing. Hone your writing ability through experience in producing a variety of the most common PR materials: a press kit, a newsletter article, radio public service announcements, and a program report. -Identify the objectives, elements, and format of a press release, media advisory, fact sheet and backgrounder. -Develop a newsletter article and a program report. -Edit and revise his or her written work. -Work as part of a group to develop and produce written materials.
