Course Description: Introduces social media platforms: blogs, microblogs, social bookmarking sites, social networking sites, status updates, opinion sites, wikis and organization applications. Examines how individuals and companies use these tools and learn how to set-up and use Facebook, Blogger, Twitter, etc.
Notes and Comments: Laptop required. Registration begins Monday, December 1, 2008. A discount is offered for multiple registrations. Center for Nonprofit Excellence members receive $10 off for each professional development non-credit course registration.
