NCBM 054D Execution and Implementation of Strategic Plans
Course Description: The implementation of a strategic plan can be as challenging a process as the creation of one. This workshop will help participants ensure that the planning time that was invested is rewarded with timely execution and noticeable progress toward stated goals. It will introduce the steps and necessary follow-up processes that most planning groups fail to consider. Participants will leave with an understanding of the requirements for execution, tools to do so, and guidance both on balancing short and long-run needs and advancing a strategic plan in light of the reality that every plate is already full.
Prerequisites: Prior exposure to strategic planning or completion of the Facilitating Strategic Planning workshop is preferred.
