Foundations of Fundraising

Course Description: A sound fund development program requires incorporating several basic elements, including a clear mission statement, vision statement, and strategic plan. This course will cover these and other fundraising essentials including establishing an annual fund, fund raising software, special events, planned giving, setting up the development office and the role of the board in fund development. Participants will have the opportunity to design a fund development program specific to their non-profit organization.

Prerequisites: This course is designed for executive directors, fund raising managers and board members at non-profit organizations.
