Course Description: This workshop will cover all aspects of the event planning process to guide those in the nonprofit arena in effectively preparing, executing and following-up after a special event. Participants will learn how to set goals, plan details while staying focused on the big picture, obtain sponsors, coordinate with contractors, involve and motivate their organization's staff and board, ensure a good turn-out, stay on schedule and run an event that appears seamless to all its attendees.
