Introduction to Italian Language IV

Course Description: This course is a continuation and reinforcement of the previous levels of Italian. More grammatical structures will be taught with the ultimate objective of achieving better communicative expression. Listening comprehension, student generated dialogues, composition and presentations will be the main focus. This course is appropriate for those who have completed the last three levels of Italian, as well as for new students who have had similar learning experiences. A review and continuation of new grammatical structures such as the reflexive verbs in the past tense, the imperfect, combination pronouns, present and past progressive tense will be presented in this course.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Italian III or knowledge of present tense, past tense and reflexive verbs.
