Introduction to Japanese Language and Culture II

Course Description: This course continues the study of the basic elements of conversational Japanese language and culture begun in “Introduction to Japanese.” It is also open to new students with some previous exposure to the Japanese language. Students will work on their listening, writing, speaking and reading skills. Useful vocabulary and sentence patterns will be presented and practiced in the class. Students will also be encouraged to engage in active hands-on activities, such as skit and role-play to further enhance their skills.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Japanese Language and Culture or equivalent knowledge.
