| PHYS 620H Properties of Matter Course Description: Learn about the properties of matter, including mass, volume, density, and chemical properties. Teacher activities to be performed in cooperative learning groups include separating objects by physical means, understanding solubility and temperature, determining density of objects, making a fire extinguisher, and others. Also investigate classifying substances as elements and compounds, observe chemical changes, and classify compounds by their reactions. Prerequisites:
