Violence in the Learning Community

Course Description: This course presents a unique look at violence in American schools framed in the context of the role educational leaders have in preventing and addressing violence. It provides a forum to maintain a rational and factual perspective on many issues affecting violence in schools. In the wake of recent incidents, school officials across the country are adopting new policies, security measures, and are expanding the role of school security officers.
