Teaching English as a Second Language

Course Description: This graduate level course is designed to meet the needs of teachers who work with English Language Learners (ELLs) from all language backgrounds. The primary focus of this course is to provide the fundamentals of theory and practice necessary for teaching ESOL students in a variety of contexts. Course topics include TESOL standards, history of ESOL instruction, current methodology and best practices for student centered learning.
