PSED 615A Design, Production, and Evaluation of Instructional Materials
Course Description: Provides library media specialists with the skills and competencies needed to design and produce appropriate instructional media. Course includes graduate level study of the cognitive foundation of the rationale for mediated instruction. Integrates a systematic approach to the instructional design (ID) process and incorporates current trends in learning theory. Topics include message design, media design, and validation of final products.
