Commonwealth Graduate Engineering Program
The leading universities in the Commonwealth of Virginia have developed a distance learning program to make master''s degrees in several engineering disciplines easily available to qualified engineers. Since 1983, the Commonwealth Graduate Engineering Program (CGEP) has served engineers and scientists through distance education. At the center of CGEP is the graduate engineering program of the University of Virginia.
Our nationally ranked University broadcasts graduate-level courses via video conferencing from classrooms on campus to sites in Virginia as well as out of state. The classes are received live, and students are able to participate fully in all classroom discussions. Classes are scheduled in late afternoon and early evening hours.
Master of Engineering degrees are offered in the following disciplines:
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Materials Science and Engineering
