The School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) is committed to bringing the outstanding academic resources of the University of Virginia to adult learners. By providing interesting, innovative and unique educational opportunities, SCPS reaches nearly 15,000 nontraditional students annually. With academic centers located in Charlottesville, Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, Quantico, Richmond, Roanoke, and Southwest Virginia, the School meets the educational needs of the Commonwealth’s citizens. Nontraditional learners throughout the U.S. and the world participate in the University’s academic community through the School’s state-of-the-artdistance learning technology.
