Ziplines Education Programs
UVA SCPS partners with Ziplines Education, an industry-driven education company that delivers practical digital skills and hands-on experience to prepare learners for high-growth careers, to offer four noncredit academic programs. These programs use UVA-approved curricula developed by Ziplines Education, and the courses are taught by Ziplines Education instructors. After successfully completing a course, you’ll receive an Affirmation of Completion from the University of Virginia.
Project Management
Our Project Management program, provided in partnership with Ziplines Education, will transform your skills in project management with expertise in the latest, in-demand tools, techniques and methodologies. You'll gain practical training and technical certifications in Project Management you can apply on the job. Delivered fully online, this 10-week comprehensive program is taught by industry experts and supplemented with live/online mentor-led classes.
Delve deep into essential project management topics, from stakeholder management, budgeting, planning, and scoping to risk management, team leadership, and Agile methodologies.
You’ll leave the course with proof of your project management skills: a Project Management Playbook and industry-recognized certification and qualifications, including the Jira Software Essentials Associate Certification, 23 hours toward the Project Management Institute’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification requirements, and hands-on experience working with Google Sheets and Microsoft Project.
Digital Marketing
This Digital Marketing Science program, run in partnership with Ziplines Education, will transform you into a digital marketer with expertise in the most in-demand marketing domains. Delivered online, this 10-week on-demand program is taught by industry experts and supplemented with optional live/online instructor-led classes.
You’ll leave the course with industry-recognized certifications and qualifications, including Google Ads Search Certification, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, and HubSpot Email Marketing Certification. The course curriculum covers in-demand digital marketing channels, such as SEO, SEM, Facebook Ads, Content Marketing, Marketing Automation, and much more.

Business Analytics
Our Business Analytics Science program, provided in partnership with Ziplines Education, is taught by industry experts and covers the critical knowledge areas required to effectively leverage data to answer business questions and guide business strategy.
Delivered online, this 10-week comprehensive on-demand program is supplemented with optional live/online instructor-led classes. Students will learn key analytics concepts and methodologies, get hands-on practice (with expert feedback) and finish the program prepared to take the Tableau Desktop Specialist Certification Exam.
Students walk away with in-demand practical skills and a Strategic Business Analytics Playbook that showcases their data analysis, data modeling, data visualization, SQL, and analytical reasoning skills to current and future employers.

Delivered online, this 10-week comprehensive on-demand program is taught by industry experts and supplemented with optional live/online instructor-led classes. You’ll learn strategic concepts such as Sales Ops Structure, Lead Management, Forecasting, Business Model Canvas, Performance Metrics & KPIs, and Pyramid Analysis. In addition, you’ll walk away with a curated collection of Salesforce Trailhead badges, including Sales Productivity, Data Management, Reports & Dashboards for Lightning Experience, Sales Team Enablement, and Sales Territory Planning.
