Ron Beckwith, Ph.D.

Ron currently serves as Coordinator of the Leadership in Human Resources Management certificate program. He holds a doctorate in Human Resource Leadership Development and has over 44 years of organizational leadership, consultative, and teaching experience. His experience includes a diverse range of corporate, federal, non-profit, consulting, and higher educational organizations, a sample of which includes, Dominion Resources, Kaiser Permanente, Lockheed Martin, SRA International, MetLife Financial Services, CIA, IRS, U.S. Census Bureau, BoardSource, HUD, Millennium Group International, Wheelhouse Group, Northern Virginia Community College, and the University of Virginia. Ron has served in a variety of practitioner and leadership roles at the corporate staff and business operations levels including human resources management, training and development, operations management, business development, organization consulting, and executive coaching. Ron routinely integrates his multi-dimensional real-world experiences into his teaching approach to create meaningful student engagement and learning.
