Faculty members teaching courses offered by the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) are expected to upload their Class Overview and Class Syllabus to their Canvas course site using the required Syllabus/Class Overview Template.
The Class Syllabus must be created using the Syllabus/Class Overview Template. This document provides both general and specific class information for registered students in your course. This information will be available for class participants only.
The Class Overview will provide general class information and must be posted at least two weeks prior to the beginning of course registration. This information will be made available for viewing in the Student Information Systems (SIS).
Note: The first section of the Syllabus/Class Overview Template is titled General Class Information. You will copy and paste the information from this section into a new document to create your Class Overview.
