The University of Virginia School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) is partnering with the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA) to sponsor a day-and-a-half workshop.  “Managing Risk in Federal Acquisitions” is scheduled for May 31-June 1 at the Darden School of Business, in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Presenters include NCMA’s top instructor, Michelle Currier, professor of contract management at Defense Acquisition University (DAU), along with an esteemed professor from UVA’s Darden School.

This learning and networking event will guide individuals through a consideration of contract-related risks and provide them with the skills to identify, mitigate, and monitor risk. Participants will immediately apply what they learn to everyday work.
