Medical School Linkages

Immediate Matriculation

If you are entering the Post Bacc Pre-Med Program with excellent undergraduate grades, a strong service background, and clinical experience, you may be interested in applying to medical school through a linkage program. Through this option, exceptionally well-qualified Post Bacc Pre-Med students may be able to skip their glide year and matriculate in medical school in the fall immediately following the program.

Participating Medical Schools

This route to medical school requires that students apply only to one school. They must attend that school if accepted. We have linkage arrangements with the following medical schools: 

• George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences
• University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine

Because there are many factors to consider when deciding whether to pursue admission through a linkage agreement, the Post Bacc Pre-Med advising team will work closely with students who are considering this option.
