Michael Powers, DM, MS

Michael Powers has been a successful project manager for over twenty-five years, with his expertise concentrated in the IT, environmental, and commercial construction sectors. A significant portion of his work has been in the environmental domain, where he has been instrumental in developing and implementing global software platforms designed to monitor chemical emissions from coal and natural gas-fired power plants. This position has allowed him to lead a variety of globally diverse teams. One of the highlights of his career was teaching an industry-specific course at MIT. More recently, he took on the role of Lead Scope and Project Reviewer for the State of Colorado, where he was responsible for reviewing and developing projects with annual budgets exceeding 250 million dollars.

Dr. Powers earned a Master of Science in Administration and Business from The University of South Dakota and a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership from The University of Phoenix. He is also part of the Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society faculty advising committee.
