35th Anniversary of the Liaison Officer Association and our inaugural member professional development day in partnership with the University of Virginia's Center for Public Safety and Justice. This event will feature a series of liaison partner presentations, interactive panels, leadership development activities, and Federal partner spotlights. As with all LOA events, it will be an exceptional opportunity to network, meet colleagues, and engage.

This is a summit dedicated to empowering, equipping, and elevating women serving in public safety roles. This event offers a platform to exchange best practices, address challenges unique to women in the field, and provide actionable strategies to navigate organizational dynamics and lead with impact.

This one-day conference aims to develop practical solutions for law enforcement recruitment and retention issues. It will bring together elected officials, public administrators, and law enforcement leaders for expert-led discussions and presentations. Our goal is to create effective strategies for implementation across cities, counties, and states nationwide. This collaborative effort goes beyond simply identifying problems to structured, cross-sector actions. By focusing on areas within the influence of municipalities, counties, and states—such as funding, training pipelines, hiring standards, community trust, and organizational culture—this conference seeks to produce measurable improvements in the law enforcement workforce
