Jennifer Safir: Advancing Public Safety Through Research and Collaboration
Jennifer Safir brings a strong legacy of public service to the Advisory Board. She is a key leader in the Howard and Carol Safir Foundation, an organization dedicated to advancing creative solutions to complex public safety challenges. Through her work, Safir has championed partnerships that have advanced intelligence sharing and public safety innovations. Safir’s breadth of experience and range of perspective will help SCPS strengthen its programs in public safety and beyond.
Elizabeth Muse: Driving Engagement and Innovation in Higher Education
Elizabeth Muse, UVA Master of Education ‘21, serves as a client relationship executive in Deloitte’s Higher Education practice, where she partners with institutions to reimagine possibilities and achieve their missions. Prior to her role at Deloitte, Muse spent 11 years with UVA’s Office of Engagement building strong connections with alumni, families and friends. Muse brings to the Advisory Board experience from her 30-year career spanning higher education advancement, nonprofit management, technology innovation and public relations. Her deep understanding of the industry along with her commitment to innovation will be invaluable in guiding SCPS forward.
Paul Aronhime: A Leader in Business Strategy and Innovation
Paul Aronhime, a UVA Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies ‘24 graduate, joins the Advisory Board with decades of experience in corporate leadership and strategic growth. Paul is the Chief Growth Officer for the Citizen Security & Public Services sector at Peraton. His career reflects a deep commitment to fostering innovation and operational excellence across industries. In his senior roles, Aronhime has focused on leading growth, strategy and operations for companies like General Dynamics Information Technology, IBM, SAIC and Idemia. His expertise in strategic planning and organizational transformation will be invaluable as SCPS continues to expand programs that meet the needs of today’s professionals.
As members of the SCPS Advisory Board, Safir, Muse and Aronhime will offer valuable input into the school’s vision and ensure its programs align with workforce demands.
