10 weeks to boost your product management skills

UVA School of Continuing and Professional Studies partners with Ziplines Education, an industry-driven education company that delivers practical digital skills and hands-on experience to prepare learners for high-growth careers, to offer four noncredit academic programs. These programs use UVA-approved curricula developed by Ziplines Education, and the courses are taught by Ziplines Education instructors. After successfully completing a course, you’ll receive an Affirmation of Completion from the University of Virginia.

Beginning September, 2024, all UVA faculty, staff, students, and alumni receive a 10% discount on this program.

Acquire the practical and strategic skills you need to become a product manager and supercharge your career in just 10 weeks. Product managers solve problems. They identify key consumer pain points to create innovative solutions effectively and efficiently. They’re the people responsible for driving business outcomes by identifying customer challenges and developing solutions that meet their needs. They’re curious, love digging into data, and get excited thinking about how to improve experiences for others using technology, design, and business strategy. 

During the program, learners will get hands-on practice using industry-standard tools, including: 

  • Atlassian Jira for project management
  • Productboard for product roadmapping
  • Amplitude for product analytics

The program also helps learners leverage the power of AI in the product management process. In each module, learners will explore and practice with cutting-edge AI tools, such as large language models (LLMs), to perform and optimize product management tasks. 

Successful program completion earns you a Productboard Build Outcome-Driven Roadmaps Certification, Getting Started with Amplitude Analytics Credential, and Atlassian Jira Software Essentials Certification (Optional).
