Kathryn Buzzoni

Kathryn has held multiple positions in program administration, admissions, and student services at UVA's School of Continuing and Professional Studies over the past 25 years. In her current role, she oversees our preliminary transcript evaluation services and also serves as a liaison between applicants and our Bachelor of Interdisciplinary and Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Sciences Management admissions committees. She reviews all submitted applications for clarity, completeness, and minimum eligibility requirements before files are fully reviewed by the committee. If necessary, she contacts applicants regarding missing application materials or any supplemental information the admissions committee might need. Once students are offered admission, Kathryn helps ensure that the transition from applicant to enrolled student is as smooth as possible. She supports the work of Bachelor of Interdisciplinary and Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Sciences Management faculty advisors and is a great resource to students and their advisors as they track progress toward degree requirements.
