Robert Guttman

Senior Lecturer

Robert "Bob" Guttman has been actively involved in national and international communications and politics for the past several decades as a journalist, professor and entrepreneur. He has had a partnership with the Financial Times in putting on high level conferences, forums and events for the past ten years. 

Guttman has been an editor-in-chief of several magazines, hosted a radio program on current affairs and taught courses on communications, media and politics and foreign policy at the graduate level at colleges and universities. He is the director of the symposium series at the Johns Hopkins Graduate School of Government in Washington, D.C. where he plans, organizes, invites speakers and serves as moderator for the event with leading national and international media, political and government personalities. 

Guttman has been lecturing and teaching graduate students since 2006 at Johns Hopkins University and other colleges including the University of California Washington, D.C. campus. He has been the senior advisor to the publisher of Foreign Policy magazine working on editorial and business strategies for the print and on-line editions of the publications.
